Welcome To Meck Investment Company

The non-profit Meck Investment Company was Inspired by the founders of the Brooklyn neighborhood here in Charlotte and their commitment to investing in the community.

MICo founders Shawn Kennedy, Marcus Kornegay, Chris Jenkins and Dr. John T. Crawford are working to build a network of resources that enable the development and execution of a career plan for every student in Charlotte’s disadvantaged communities, narrowing the opportunity divide and accelerating upward mobility.

Over the past three years MICo has been operating under the generous supervision and guidance of the Make an Impact Now Foundation an established 501c3. The success of the camp program has led
the group to form and establish an independent non-profit organization.
